This was a project house that we completely remodeled in 2018. The kitchen was dark and dreary, with a wall separating a small dining room. We removed the wall and reconfigured the kitchen to include a large island. We also removed an unnecessary bathtub in a nearby bathroom in order to add the bar in the dining area. It ended up being a large, light, open entertaining space, which included a cozy den on one end, with a TV and a fireplace.
