I love all things home.

What's more fun than choosing colors, materials, furniture and objects to surround yourself with everyday? For me, not a whole lot. Which is why I love my job. My goal is always to make the design process as stress-free and fun as possible, and to create homes that make my clients happy.

My design aesthetic is timeless, yet modern.  I am drawn to clean lines, but always add layers, to bring character to the space. I love to mix the old with the new and to incorporate textures, patterns and color in unexpected ways. I'm not so concerned with rules of design, but more concerned about the visceral reaction that happens when you walk into an awesome room.

I grew up just outside of Portland, graduated from University of Washington, then moved to Los Angeles.  I spent the next twenty years there, and fell in love with design. After honing my skills at Otis School of Design, I started my first design firm, Orange Drive Design. I worked on everything ranging from one-room makeovers to entire home renovations, and loved every minute of it. I was inspired by the amazing design scene in Southern California, and was constantly finding new vendors and stores that helped me create special spaces for my clients.  In 2015, my husband, Joel (a General Contractor), and I moved our family back to my hometown of Lake Oswego, and began both West Homes and Anna West Interiors. In addition to some personal projects and investment properties, we have stayed busy helping people design, build and remodel their homes with our amazing team of craftsmen. We collaborate on most projects, but also work separately, depending on what is needed. It’s been fantastic to acclimate to the industry in an entirely different city, and to bring our unique perspective to clients in the Pacific Northwest.
